United States Senate election in North Dakota, 1952

The 1952 U.S. Senate election for the state of North Dakota was held November 4, 1952. The incumbent, Non-Partisan League (NPL) Senator William Langer, sought and received re-election to his fourth term in the United States Senate on the Republican ticket, defeating Democratic candidate Harold A. Morrison. 〔http://clerk.house.gov/members/electionInfo/1952election.pdf〕
Incumbent Langer won the Republican nomination, and the endorsed Democratic candidate was Harold A. Morrison. Langer and Morrison won the primary elections for their respective parties. One independent candidate, former North Dakota Governor Fred G. Aandahl, also filed before the deadline. Aandahl, a Republican, ran as a Write-in candidate after failing to receive the Republican nomination against the incumbent in the primary election.
